Steel & Mesh Online Finishing crew Pump hire ← Concrete

Mesh counted with the overlap already in it.

Sheets do not divide neatly into a slab, and they have to lap. Most people order the area and come up short. We count the sheets you actually need, add the chairs and the wire, and put it on site before the truck comes.

Off the slab you already measured

Your concrete order has the dimensions and the pour date. Steel has to be laid and inspected before the concrete arrives, so it is delivered ahead of it — not on the same day.

Why the sheet count is the whole product. Mesh comes in 6.0 × 2.4 m sheets and has to lap by at least one full square where sheets meet. Order by bare area and you are short before you start; order by eye and you buy sheets you did not need. The count below lays the sheets out both ways round and takes the better answer.
What we are not doing. We are not specifying your steel. Mesh grade, bar size, cover and spacing come off an engineer's plan or a producer statement for anything structural — a house slab, a retaining wall, anything carrying load. What is here is a takeoff and a price for a grade you have already been told to use. Getting reinforcing wrong is not a finish problem, it is a structural one.
