If you hire pumps, an account changes the paperwork, not the price. If you run pumps, we are the thing that fills your quiet Tuesday without a lead fee. Neither of them involves haggling.
You are already pricing pumps every week, and you know the rates better than we do. An account is not a discount scheme — it is the admin removed.
Every pour on one statement with the job reference, the site and the hours, instead of a card payment per pump and a receipt somebody has to find.
Account or not, the number on the page is the number. We do not run a hidden trade sheet, and we do not mark the public price up so an account can look like a saving.
Trade pages show the GST-exclusive figure because that is the one that goes in your job costing. The GST is still stated in full on every line.
If there is a crew you always use, they get your jobs offered first. If they are busy, everyone else covering the postcode is asked rather than the pour being lost.
Same slab every fortnight, same machine, same slot. Set it once and it repeats; change it up to the day before.
The machine on its own, no operator. It is gated behind a named pump hand and a bond — see trade and dry hire.
Why dry hire is gated. A blocked line under pressure hurts people, and cleaning a pump wrong wrecks it. We will hire a machine without an operator to a company that names the person running it and carries the bond — not to whoever asks.
You keep your own customers, your own rates and your own diary. We do not want to be between you and the people who already ring you. What we can do is fill the days nobody rang.
What we take is still being worked out, and we would rather say that than print a number we have to change. It will be one figure, visible on every job before you accept it, and it will not be a charge for being sent work you turned down.
What we ask of you. Current insurance, a machine with a service history, and an operator who turns up when the docket says. If a pour goes wrong we want to hear it from you before we hear it from the customer.
Either way, start at the price page. Contractors see what their jobs cost; operators see exactly what a customer was told.
